Lulix Lotion is a topical antifungal agent belonging to the azole class of medications. It is a broad-spectrum antifungal that works by killing the fungi that cause infections. It is intended for external use only and should be used as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

  • Fungicidal Action: The medication is fungicidal, meaning it kills the infection-causing fungi by destroying their cell membranes, preventing the infection from spreading or returning if the full course of treatment is completed. 

Ingredient of Lulix Lotion:

The primary active ingredient is Luliconazole (1% w/w). 

In addition to the active ingredient, luliconazole cream typically includes inactive ingredients such as benzyl alcohol, butylated hydroxytoluene, cetostearyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, medium-chain triglycerides, methylparaben, polysorbate 60, propylene glycol, purified water, and sorbitan monostearate. 

Usage Instructions of Lulix Lotion:

  • External Use Only: This medication is strictly for use on the skin.
  • Clean and Dry: Clean and thoroughly dry the affected area before application.
  • Apply Thin Layer:Apply a thin layer of the lotion to the affected skin area and spread it to cover at least 1 inch of the surrounding skin.
  • Wash Hands: Wash your hands properly after applying the lotion, unless your hands are the area being treated.
  • Avoid Contact: Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water.
  • Dose and Duration: Use as directed by your doctor. The typical duration may vary:
    • Athlete's foot: once daily for 2 weeks.
    • Jock itch or ringworm: once daily for 1 week.
  • Finish the Course: Do not stop using the medicine even if the symptoms disappear, as this helps prevent the infection from returning. 

Side Effects of Lulix Lotion:

Most side effects are temporary and do not require medical attention, disappearing as the body adjusts to the medicine. Common side effects include: 

  • Skin irritation
  • Burning sensation at the application site
